ACUPUNCTURE FOR ANXIETY &
PANIC DISORDERS FORT LAUDERDALE

Occasional anxiety is a normal part of life, but for people with anxiety disorders, these feelings of excessive worry or fear can be intense and frequent, which can make every day life much harder. There is a persistent and constant worry and fear about everyday situations that you feel you cannot turn off. Besides the overthinking, it can come with a wide range of physical symptoms as well that can leave you feeling like you are having a heart attack or even dying.

These symptoms can include:

  • Nervousness, restlessness or feeling tense

  • Impending sense of danger, panic or doom

  • Increase heart rate and breathing (hyperventilation)

  • Trouble concentrating

  • Trouble sleeping

  • Sweating, chills or hot flashes

  • Tingling in the extremities

  • Nausea, dizziness and lightheadedness

  • Chest pain

  • Fatigue

  • Irritability

  • Tense or achy muscles

Having these issues can lead to or worsen other conditions such as depression, digestive issues, social isolation, problems functioning at school or work, and even suicidal thoughts. It is one of the most common mood disorders but the good news is there are plenty ways to help treat it.

How We Help

I have helped many improve their anxiety and panic disorders through acupuncture, herbal medicine and health counseling. My goal is to get to the core of the issue and develop a personalized treatment plan to help you receive long term relief from your symptoms. This system is also 100% natural without any side effects.

Many studies have shown that acupuncture helps increase neurotransmitters and biochemicals as well as balance hormones that can benefit your mood. I also incorporate acupuncture points that help calm the mind to reduce overthinking and circular thinking. Other points on the body are added to help soothe the nervous system and the flight or fight response to minimize the physical symptoms of anxiety, such as pounding heart, tingling in the extremities, dizziness and digestive issues. Acupuncture can also help with issues that may be making your anxiety worse. I include treatments to help remove shock and trauma that may be holding back your body from healing.

This is one of the conditions where I highly recommend an herbal prescription to help strengthen, calm and balance the body and mind. I will also guide you through nutritional and lifestyle counseling without judgment or pressure. Having an integrative mindset, I will always work along with any other therapies you may be using such as psychotherapy or medications, and can even maximize these other therapies.
